You’ll be surrounded by space history while in the company of a man who can offer a unique perspective and insight into the world of aerospace and flight. The Udvar-Hazy Center, located in Chantilly, Virginia, is the home of thousands of aviation and space artifacts. The Center houses 152 large space artifacts, including the Gemini VII capsule, the Mobile Quarantine Unit used upon the return of the Apollo 11 crew, a 69-foot floor-to-ceiling Redstone rocket, and much more. The crown jewel in the collection at the Udvar-Hazy Center is the decommissioned Space Shuttle orbiter Discovery.[/i]
